Make Homemade Playdough

Each Day (Hopefully each day, if not I've make up for it) I'm going to post a fun activity for you and your toddler to do. So heres the first ....

  1. Make Playdough -

Make your own playdough, you will need:

3 Cups of Flour
1 1/2 Cups of Salt
6 Teaspoons of Cream of Tartar
3 Tablespoons of Vegetable oil
3 Cups of Water
Few drops of food colouring in three colours

Combine all the ingredients except the food colouring in a large pot over medium heat.

Stir constantly until mixture pulls away from the sides of the pot and forms a ball.

Remove from the heat and leave to cool.

Turn the cooled dough onto greaseproof paper and knead it for a minute or two.

Then divide it into three portions and knead in the food colouring to make each a different colour.

the dough is no ready for your child to play with.

Store each dough portion in separate bags in the fridge.

Discard after a week or two.
