iPhone and Instagram

It's sad but I have only just got an iPhone and its more sadder that the first app I downloaded was Instagram. I have had an iPad before so I know all the apps are amazing on the apple store. I knew about Instagram before but I have never had an account and never really understood it. Same really goes for twitter, think Facebook is just easier to use. Unless I'm just really stupid lol. Anyways I downloaded Instagram, made an account (shopaholic2400 if you want to follow me) and I love it! I like to look on there as it inspires me, bit like Pinterest ( which I'm addicted too). What's useful about Pinterest is that if you like something, you can look on the link of what website it's from and then you start to love the website link. I think the Internet is so amazing but think you all know that :) The thing with Instagram is sharing photos you have took yourself and inspire others or get inspiration from others. Just say I brought a new purse and posted it to Instagram, then people might like it and want to buy it. I think that's what I would like to use Instagram for - INSPIRATION... 

I'm Back!

So after a long time of not being on here , I'm back with a blog post.
I don't know if any of you know about a website called Swap-bot.com, but its an amazing website where you swap items from all around the world. I loved to swap sweets , especially getting sweets from America (Razzles are amazing).  I have had some lovely swaps.

I have also got into postcard swapping on postcrossing.com. Think its just nice to get postcards from around the world. So i suppose you could call me a postcard collector now :)

We are moving home soon , this will be my second home with my boyfriend and 4th home altogether lol. I want it to be so perfect and so organized. I have brought so many baskets and tubs just to organize things. My boyfriend and his dad have been decorating the new home before we actually move in. We have done some packing, but its just all the things from the loft for now. I hate packing, I prefer unpacking and seeing where all the items go in our new home.

I am on my summer holidays at the moment , nice to have time off from work.

The Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain 


If you don't know about these - OMG Seriously you should know about them. They are the best lip products I have ever tried. I have fell in love with them since I tried them. If you have not then you need to go out now (yes even if its the middle of the night) and get one of these last longing lip stains. 

They last all day, I come home with shock to see that the lip stain is still on my lips. 

Colours I have brought so far are CHERISH & RENDEZVOUS. Cherish is a beautiful pink, I didn't realize though how bright it was going to be. It is a bright pink, like a barbie pink I think. Still its beautiful. Rendezvous is a gorgeous red. I would say it has a hint of orange to it. I love this colour, as it really suits me. 

This product is worth getting and I can't wait til I get the rest of the colours. 

How to make Homemade Body Butter

You will need:

• 15g Shea butter
• 15g Coconut oil
• 15g Cocoa butter
• 5ml (one teaspoon) Almond oil
• 50g Jar
• 10 drops of essential oil
• A pan of hot water

Step 1

Add all the butters into a bowl 

Step 2

Put the bowl in the pan to heat (10-15 minutes) until liquid

Step 3

Add 5ml Almond oil and stir

Step 4

Add essential oil (10 drops)

Step 5

Pour into the Jar and let it set in the fridge

Step 6

Once set, the body butter is ready to use

This body butter is rich so don't use too much in one place. Nice to use after bath or shower.

Revlon Summer Nail polishes!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Just wanted to tell you about these two gorgeous nail polishes I have fell in love with. Even though they are Summer colours and Summer is not even close to us. I had to still share them with you. These are the perfect Summer colours if your looking for that.

Revlon Nail polish - One perfect Coral - This is so beautiful, even though its not even Summer yet. I decided to put this colour on. To be honest it looks like a gel red colour. Its just so pretty and has got me in the mood - ready for Summer!








Revlon Nail polish - Mad about Mango - This is a pretty pale orange colour. Perfect for the Summer. I suppose its like a salmon colour. This is a scented nail polish as well, let it dry first though.

So even though its No where near Summer I had to share these colours with you (least your be ready for the Summer :) )

In Love With Lush Products!

I love Lush products , they are so amazing and they are fresh handmade products. 

I love the Lip scrubs , they make your lips so soft and smooth. The flavours are yummy and when you rub them on your lips you can lick the rest off and tastes so yummy.

I have got Bubblegum, Popcorn, and Pow wow flavoured lip scrubs.
I got two of the Bubblegum lip scrubs as its the best out of all of them.
The Popcorn one tastes of salt as it has sea salt in that one.
Pow wow is a popping candy lip scrub.

Helping Hands hand lotion is good for your hands as makes them real soft. Its good for the winter as your hands may get rough and sometimes a bit sore and dry from the cold. Helping hands is good to make your hands soft again. I've always liked to use hand creams and lotions but this is the best one I have used so far.

The Jilted Elf Shower & Bath Jelly is amazing. Its lovely for christmas, as its glittery green colour and smells so good. I'm sure I read somewhere that it had vodka in it. It comes as jelly in a pot and then when you use it, it turns to foam. You can also use it in your hair but I'm not going to use it for that as I prefer shampoo. I know you can get the shampoo bars from Lush and I think their really useful for traveling so thats a very good idea. I know I will be ordering some of those soon.

Shine so bright (Hair balm for split ends) is a small tin. I just use it in the tin and rub it gently onto the ends of my hair. It does make your hair slightly sticky at the bottom but once brushed out it stops being sticky. I've only used this for a while so I haven't noticed any difference as yet.

The Whip stick lip balm is gorgeous. Chocolate orange flavoured. I do love lip balm , it isn't my best lip balm but I love the smell of it , better than other lip balms. Worth buying for the smell.

I've ordered more Lush products so I will write the reviews on here for you so you know my opinion on them. Lush products are amazing and your be crazy not to try them.

Secret to Longer Lashes

Heres few tips on how to get longer lashes...

You can use Olive oil, Castor oil or Vaseline on your lashes before you go to bed just use a mascara wand to put them onto your lashes.

You can buy Lash Serum (Loreal paris does a lash serum)

 

OR MAKE YOUR OWN...

DIY MAKE LASH SERUM TO GET LONGER LASHES!!

You will need:
1. Small Jar/Pot
2. Vitamin E oil
3. Aloe Vera
4. Castor oil

Add a teaspoon of Castor oil
Add a teaspoon of Aloe vera
Add a teaspoon & a half of Vitamin E oil
Stir it up
Get a Mascara wand
Dip that in
Use on your Lashes

Done!

Ways to make your Eye Lashes appear longer

- Add Powder to your lashes before mascara
- Add a different colour to the tips of your lashes (example black mascara and on tips dark brown)
- Use Eye lash curler (Heated or Non Heated)
- Use clear mascara before you put on your colour mascara
- Brush your Eye lashes out

Or Just Use Flase Lashes!

These are all my favourite lipsticks at the moment. The Lipsticks look brighter in reality, as the picture isn't that great. But least you get the idea. 

Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette

My Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palette arrived yesterday. Best Eyeshadows ever. It has 12 eyeshadows, beautiful colours - a lot of lovely brown colours which I use a lot of.

 It came with a brush and also came with small bottle of Urban Decay Potion Primer which I already have the full sized so I know how good that is.

 I am very happy with my Item.

 I paid £36 for it from Debenhams. I was going to buy it from ebay for cheaper but I looked on youtube at reviews and there were a lot of people saying there is a fake Urban Decay Naked Palette so I didn't get it from ebay and make the mistake of it being fake. At least buying it from Debenhams I know its real.

There is a second Urban Decay Naked Palette but reviews on youtube said the first one was better so I went with the first one and maybe in future I will get the second one.

 The colours are so amazing. So if interested heres the picture and have a look for yourself.

Oh LoVe .. Mirror Jewellery Stand

Hi there, I wanted to share one of my christmas presents with you as its AMAZING and you might want one too! I know every girl might :)

My Boyfriend brought me this and he went out to the shops and it got delivered when he wasn't here so I already knew what it was by the size of the box, plus it said the name of it on the side. So I'm happy but his upset that I found out.
